Cryopak’s Associate Technical Director, Anthony Alleva, is presenting at the Temperature Maintenance in Biopharmaceuticals Conference in Boston June 6th 2013
Edison, NJ - June 4, 2013 - Cryopak’s Associate Technical Director, Anthony Alleva, has been asked to present at this year’s Temperature Maintenance in Biopharmaceuticals Conference in Boston June 5th and 6th. His presentation Leveraging New Refrigerant Technologies: Use of Engineered Phase Change Materials in Cold Chain Packaging Design is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 6th.
The presentation will focus on the use of phase change materials in temperature controlled package design and the inclusion of phase change materials in cold chain packaging. Mr. Alleva will address the unique abilities of engineered phase change materials such as, maintaining temperatures at tight specifications and their flexibility and reusability in certain pack-outs.
“We will focus our discussion on how to identify the trade-offs in material costs v. the total costs of the packaging and distribution,” Alleva, said. “We will also look at the performance variables to consider in the selection of phase change materials and how these PCM’s are utilized in packaging design.”
If you attending this year’s Temperature Maintenance in Biopharmaceuticals, join Anthony on June 6th from 11:30 am to noon. Visit the Temperature Maintenance in Biopharmaceuticals Conference website for more details!
