MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CRITICARE SYSTEMS, INC. (AMEX:CMD). Criticare Systems, Inc. today announced first quarter fiscal 2008 financial results for the period ended September 30, 2007.
The Company reported net sales of $9,137,725 for the three months ended September 30, 2007, compared to $8,206,595 for the same period in fiscal 2007. The Company also reported net income of $638,641 for the first quarter fiscal 2008 or $.05 per diluted share compared with net income of $332,876 or $.03 diluted share for the same period fiscal 2007. Gross margin percentage was 37.7% for the three months ended September 30, 2007, compared to 38.0% for the same period in fiscal 2007. The difference in margins was due to small variations in the product mix. The Company did not issue any share based compensation awards during the first quarter of fiscal 2008.
