DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.225 per ordinary share. The dividend is payable on August 16, 2012, to shareholders of record on July 30, 2012.
