Aug 23 (Reuters) - The Cooper Companies Inc. (COO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said it named Robert Weiss as its chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1. Weiss, who was most recently the chief operating officer of the company, succeeds Thomas Bender, the eye-care company said in a statement.
