RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas (AP) -- Closing arguments in a lawsuit in state court over Merck & Co.'s painkiller Vioxx were delayed until Thursday so a juror could attend a grandparent's funeral. The jury had been expected to begin deliberations Wednesday in another of the almost 10,000 lawsuits alleging the once-popular painkiller caused heart attacks.
