Child Cancer Survivors Face Worse Health As Adults

According to a new Childhood Cancer Survivor Study, due to the improved pediatric cancer treatments, children with cancer now have a survival rate of as high as 80 per cent but may face higher risks for heart disease, stroke and kidney failure in adulthood due to problems caused by chemotherapy and radiation.
