ChemOutsourcing Show to Target Emerging Pharma Company Scale Up and API Outsourcing Needs at September 2010 Event on Jersey Shore, USA

LONG BRANCH, N.J., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- “Pharma ChemOutsourcing today announced that the September 14-16, 2010 event in New Jersey has been repositioned to focus on the unique outsourcing needs of the emerging pharmaceutical companies that have come to play an increasingly dominant role in today’s drug development market,” reports Mark Alexay, organizer of the annual event.

The annual Pharma ChemOutsourcing Conference & Exhibition takes place every September in New Jersey. The 2009 event saw 43% growth over the previous year’s show, with about 800 total attendees including 100 exhibitors and 125 speakers. “The events is totally unique,” stated Alexay. “It’s the one opportunity during the year that VP’s of Process and Chemical Development from a huge array of emerging pharmaceutical companies can share their API outsourcing views and experiences with their peers. There is a lot of very important information exchanged and business done at the event.”

“The challenges are everywhere - besides manufacturing, there’s the supply chain, a web of suppliers all over the planet, plus FDA regulatory hurdles to clear. Then even if you have a great new IND, partnering with a larger firm to move towards commercialization requires a new skill set and a commercially viable product,” stressed Alexay, “is the ultimate goal for emerging companies. Pharma ChemOutsourcing has been rebuilt from the ground up to prepare the growing legion of these little companies with the skills and connections they need to navigate the treacherous waters all the way from scale up to successful out-partnering.”
