Cardiac Stem Cell Therapy Company, Cardio3 BioSciences Appoints Former New Jersey Medical School Assistant Professor, Dr. Vinciane Gaussin, as its Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)

BRAINE L'ALLEUD, Belgium--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cardio³ BioSciences (www.cardio3bio.com) announced today the appointment of Vinciane Gaussin, Ph.D., as its Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), effective immediately. Most recently, Dr. Gaussin was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) since 2000. In 2000, she was the second-place finalist for the American Heart Association’s prestigious Louis N. and Arnold M. Katz Basic Science Research Prize for Young Investigators. From 1997-1999, Dr. Gaussin was a postdoctoral fellow focusing on developmental biology of the heart at Baylor College of Medicine. She has authored or co-authored 24 clinical basic science research papers in such esteemed journals as Biochemistry Journal, Nature Medicine, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Circulation and Developmental Biology.
