LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Calypte Biomedical Corporation (OTCBB: CBMC), a manufacturer of medical diagnostic tests for the rapid detection of antibodies to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), announced today its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007. For the quarter ended June 30, 2007 Calypte recorded revenues of $282,000, compared with $49,000 in the second quarter of 2006. The net loss for the quarter was approximately $0.8 million, or $0.00 per common share, in 2007 compared with a net loss of approximately $3.7 million or $0.02 per common share in 2006. Net loss for the quarter includes net non-cash selling, general and administrative and interest (income) expense totaling $(0.6) million in 2007 and $2.5 million in 2006.
