San Diego, Calif. (BUSINESSWIRE) – On Thursday, July 28, the California Life Sciences Association (CLSA) will host its “Afternoon with Thought Leaders” program in La Jolla, Calif., and convene an important discussion on Pandemic Preparedness: The Public-Private Research and Response Infrastructure.
In addition to a live stream keynote from Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), four leading health experts will join CLSA to discuss how effective and timely responses to emergent public health crises and pandemic threats – Ebola, H1N1, SARS, Zika, etc. – require a united approach by public health agencies, non-profits, healthcare companies and other important stakeholders. This CLSA event will examine these critical partnerships, how our nation’s pandemic preparedness and response infrastructure functions, and how it can be improved.
