An assessment of southeastern Connecticut's bioscience capabilities has resulted in a newly proposed bill that would to set up a space where entrepreneurial scientists could work, hold events and network with one another as they launch startup companies. The recommendation for a bioscience incubator contained in the Southeastern CT Bioscience Capabilities Assessment Report will be one of several to be heard by the General Assembly's Commerce Committee today when it holds hearings on a bill that would fund some of the report's ideas.
