SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BSD Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: BSDM) today announced that the German Society of Radiation Oncology (DEGRO) has published quality assurance guidelines for deep hyperthermia that support the advanced phased array technology utilized in the BSD-2000 Hyperthermia System. The press release from DEGRO states that the addition of hyperthermia to standard radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy improves the outcome for patients with high risk sarcomas, breast cancer recurrence, superficial tumors, head and neck cancer, cervical cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, and rectal cancer.
