But when drug design relies more on the knowledge of the three-dimensional structure of the biomolecular target, it is known as structure-based drug design,” explains Mr. Barron Jones, the Marketing Chief of BOC Sciences. “The biopharmaceuticals used in drug design often include small molecule inhibitors, peptides, and most importantly antibodies, which have become an increasingly important class of therapeutic drugs.”

In addition, more than 2 million unique compounds are available in virtual compound database, including ZINC, ACD, MDDR, NCI, etc.” reveals Mr. Barron Jones.
