A simple blood test that can accurately detect early stages of breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer in humans in roughly one hour has been developed by researchers at Kansas State University. Being an easy-to-do, noninvasive test, this could benefit those classified as at-risk for cancer, such as heavy smokers and people who have a family history of cancer the most, say the researchers.
