The acquired IP, combined with Biotica’s substantial IP portfolio, gave Biotica a leading position in polyketide engineering. Amyris now has access to that technology IP. Biotica will continue to focus on polyketide therapeutics, taking advantage of its IP position to exploit the enormous potential of the polyketide opportunity.
