WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) today announced the addition of an emerging technologies-specific area to the exhibition floor at the 2007 BIO International Convention. The Emerging Technologies Area will showcase early stage companies that are beginning to commercialize technologies produced at research institutions, as well as newly established companies that are developing new drugs, diagnostic tests, and research tools.
