(“BioSyntech” or “the Company”) (TSX: BSY), a biotechnology company developing biotherapeutic thermogels for regenerative medicine, today announced that five abstracts have been selected for presentation as posters at the 54th Annual Meeting of the Orthopaedic Research Society (“ORS”) held from March 2-5, 2008 in San Francisco, California. The poster presentations will showcase research performed in the area of surgical techniques and solutions for meniscus and cartilage repair. BioSyntech’s product portfolio includes several orthopedic products in development, including BST-CarGel(R) for cartilage repair and Arthro-BST(TM), an arthroscopic instrument for the assessment of articular cartilage.
