The unique, original watercolor artistry of the maps adorn offices around the country, and provide an at-a-glance reference to the industry’s leading innovators and employers.

In addition to the new maps, throughout the year BioSpace will be spotlighting key regional Hotbed companies, sharing their impact on the life sciences industry and certain therapeutic areas.

Biotech Bay

The Biotech Bay Hotbed highlights life sciences companies located in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay area. The first Biotech Bay map is proudly displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and is described as “a snapshot of history in the making” with the map being the first of its kind to depict leading biotechnology companies pioneering a new era of science in the San Francisco area.

BioMidwest

Biotech Beach

The Biotech Beach Hotbed map includes biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device companies in San Diego and Southern California.

Urovant Sciences, Amgen, Travere Therapeutics, AbbVie, Eli Lilly and Avanir Pharmaceuticals are some of the companies that are highlighted on the Biotech Beach Hotbed.

BioCapital

Although the news cycle in Washington D.C. and its surrounding states is typically dominated by politics, that’s not to say that other industries should be overshadowed.

The BioCapital Hotbed showcases pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device organizations making their mark in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.

Genetown
