The Indiana-based company recently announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared two of its surgical applications, including the E1 humeral bearing and the Comprehensive Segmental Revision System (SRS). Dr. John Sperling, an orthopedic surgeon from Rochester, Minnesota, said the products are novel treatments in hip, knee and shoulder surgeries and can be used to help cancer patients dealing with bone loss from chemotherapy treatments.
