Biocom Builds on Bay Area Momentum, Names Regional Executive Director

As Regional Executive Director, Nemits will direct the effort to build a strong, well-connected life science community throughout the Bay Area, and support the association’s more than 400 member companies in the region. With more than 20 years in Bay Area life sciences, Nemits will drive the association’s key initiatives which focus on public policy, capital development, networking and partnering, business solutions and workforce development. Her depth and breadth of experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the Bay Area, as well as her experience as a senior executive with a local biotechnology tools startup, has fostered a broad view of the nine-county region, and the challenges and opportunities life science companies face.
