Universal Health Services Announces New $500 Million Line Of Credit

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Health Services, Inc. announced today that it has replaced its $400 million unsecured line of credit which was scheduled to expire on December 13, 2006 with a new $500 million unsecured line of credit effective March 4, 2005. The new $500 million line of credit bears interest at the London Inter-Bank Offer Rate (LIBOR) plus a spread of 40 to 100 basis points including a facility fee which is determined based on our credit ratings from Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s Investors Service, Inc. Based on our current credit ratings, our pricing is LIBOR plus 62.5 basis points which results in a 62.5 basis point improvement in pricing compared to the previous $400 million line of credit.
