The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute Announces New Arthritis Treatment Study

DALLAS, June 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute, a nationally recognized treatment center founded by orthopedic surgeons, announces a new clinical trial that is currently accepting patients. The Institute is now enrolling patients with arthritis in a clinical trial comparing a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication with Curcumin. Curcumin is an anti-inflammatory plant based herbal supplement that may be safer than NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen and as effective as NSAIDs in relieving arthritis pain. The Institute is recognized for providing evidence based regenerative therapies for patients with arthritis and other orthopedic conditions. “The design of our new clinical trial evaluating the supplement Curcumin as a replacement for traditional NSAID medications is a natural result of our overall mission to find safer and less invasive ways to help our bodies heal themselves,” said Don Buford, MD, orthopedic surgeon and founder of the Institute.
