MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SIMTEC Silicone Parts, a custom manufacturer of Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) parts and components for the medical device, consumer goods, industrial, and automotive industries, announces a technological breakthrough in the serial production of Two-Shot components. SIMTEC has acquired specialized production units from Europe for Two-Shot injection molding of LSR and their engineering team has carried out a customized system integration to enable fully automated 24 hour operation at its facilities in Madison. These units are the first of their kind in the world. This processing technology enables SIMTEC to provide clients with high quality continuous serial production of integrated components which has not been available in the U.S. until now.
