(Kearney, NE; June 6, 2013) — SCORR Marketing has retained Dee Fuehrer, one of the leading experts in trade show and event planning for the life sciences industry, to lead its trade show marketing services team.
“Dee has more experience and knowledge about trade show marketing in the drug development sector than anyone in the industry,” said Cinda Orr, SCORR Marketing president and CEO. “I really feel that with Dee’s leadership, SCORR can compete with anyone in the world in this arena.”
As trade show and events manager for leading companies in the life sciences industry for more than 20 years, Fuehrer has developed strategy, managed budgets, coordinated logistics and executed literally hundreds of exhibits and conferences all over the world. She is also one of only a small handful of trade show and event marketers to have earned the distinction of Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM), which is offered in affiliation with Northern Illinois University Outreach and reflects adherence to the highest standards. Less than 1 percent of all trade show and event marketers have earned this certification.
For the past year, Fuehrer has served on the Exhibitor Advisory Committee for the Drug Information Association (DIA). As a member of the committee, Fuehrer’s opinions and ideas help give direction on how to improve future DIA events.
