Manchester, UK (July 1 2008). RTS Life Science, a worldwide supplier of automated sample management and drug delivery testing systems, today announces that it will host a workshop at the IQPC 4th Annual Compound Management & Integrity Conference (CMI) in Philadelphia, September 22-24, 2008. RTS Life Science will also exhibit its comprehensive range of compound management solutions.
The informative workshop will take place on Monday 22nd September from 8.00am – 11.00am and is entitled, ‘A Workflow for Compound Management.’ The session will be lead by David Harding and Chris Walsh of RTS Life Science, as well as representatives from RTS’ customers, Lilly Research Laboratories and Schering-Plough Research Institute. The workshop will provide the participants the opportunity to assess the impact and benefits of different screening paradigms, review disaster recovery and risk management options, and understand the relationship between workflow and operating costs.
The interactive workshop will also provide attendees with the chance to actively discuss and explore compound management workflow options, including central storage versus localized storage and integration versus workstation systems. With the aim to expand attendee learning and provide a networking experience, the workshop will also address the impact of storage conditions on workflow and discuss whether Quality Control should be built into the workflow.
With 25 years’ experience delivering automation solutions, RTS Life Science offers systems and solutions for sample storage and retrieval, sample preparation and testing, screening and blood fractionation.
