Rob Seim Named Omnicell Executive Vice President Of Finance; James Judson To Join Omnicell Board

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Omnicell, Inc. , a leading provider of patient safety solutions preferred by nurses, announced today the appointment of technology industry veteran Rob Seim as executive vice president of finance.

The company also announced that James T. Judson, who has served as vice president of finance and interim CFO, will continue to serve as CFO and take on the role of vice president of corporate development until the company submits its form 10-K to the Securities and Exchange Commission in March 2006. In addition, it was announced that Judson has been elected to the Omnicell board of directors and will begin serving on the board on April 1, 2006, replacing John D. Stobo, Jr., who has served as a director of Omnicell since February 2000.

Prior to joining Omnicell, Seim served as the vice president of operations and CFO of Mirra, a vendor of personal backup servers. From July 2001 to December 2004, Seim served as vice president and CFO of Candera, a maker of network-based storage controllers. From September 1999 to February 2001, Seim was a co-founder, vice president and CFO of Villa Montage Systems, a provider of residential broadband access management systems. From 1996 through 1999, Seim held a number of senior financial management positions at Bay Networks, which was acquired by Northern Telecom in September 1998. Seim began his business career in 1982 with IBM, serving in a variety of financial positions at three divisions over the course of fourteen years with IBM. Seim has a B.S. degree in accounting from California State University, Sacramento.
