Cambridge 14 October 2015 … Repositive, a software company developing novel tools to improve access to genomic research data, has been listed as a finalist in the 2015 Pistoia Alliance’s President’s Start Up Challenge.
As a finalist, Repositive will receive $5,000 and mentoring support from seniors members of the Pistoia Alliance representing major commercial life science R&D organisations. In addition, Repositive will have an opportunity to be named as winner and receive one of two $15,000 prizes alongside further mentoring support from Pistoia Alliance members if it wins the top prize.
Fiona Nielsen, CEO of Repositive, said: “With this award the Pistoia Alliance is recognising the Repositive platform as a way forward to enable pre-competitive data sharing for genomics research. It is excellent news to be shortlisted as a finalist. The mentoring and partnering established as a result of this participation will benefit all our users in the genomics R&D community. Repositive has developed a web based platform which will allow scientists to quickly and easily access data from a range of global sources, and initiate data collaborations with both colleagues and external collaborators. The Repositive platform is in beta testing and welcoming partners in academia and industry for genomics R&D.
