Cambridge, 17 August 2015 … Repositive, a software company developing novel tools to improve access to genomic research data, has expanded its team and moved to new offices as it prepares to launch its Repositive platform.
The new team members include two new computer programmers, a marketing and communications coordinator, and an operations manager. The company is also in the process of hiring two for new positions, one of which will be a genomic data scientist while the other is an software engineer. In addition the company now has its own dedicated office space at the Future Business Centre in Cambridge.
Fiona Nielsen, CEO of Repositive, said: “As a company we have made excellent progress since securing our seed funding earlier this year. We now have a platform which is nearly ready for launch, along with a growing number of users already registered for the Beta platform. The new offices and staff will ensure a successful launch of our platform in the autumn, and position the company for future growth.”
Repositive has developed a web based platform which will allow scientists to quickly and easily access data from a range of global sources, and initiate data collaborations with both colleagues and external collaborators.
