LA JOLLA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2006--ProSanos Corporation, a company specializing in the capture, integration and analysis of healthcare-related data, announced today the receipt of a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the Department of Defense (DOD). The grant will be used for research to apply ProSanos's drug safety technology to DOD needs; specifically, the funds will be used to augment clinical trial data on drugs of specific interest to DOD with data from other sources, which may include the national Adverse Event Reporting System (AERS) and healthcare claims databases, for drug safety monitoring purposes.
