NHP Declares Quarterly Cash Dividends On Common Stock And Series A And B Preferred Stock

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc.'s Board of Directors declared today a $.37 per share regular dividend on its common stock. The common dividend will be paid on December 2, 2005 to shareholders of record on November 9, 2005.

In addition, Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. also reported that the Board of Directors declared cash dividends of $1.91925 per share on its Series A cumulative step-up REIT preferred stock and $1.9375 per share on its Series B cumulative convertible preferred stock. The Series A dividend will be paid on December 30, 2005 to stockholders of record on December 1, 2005, and the Series B dividend will be paid on December 30, 2005 to stockholders of record on December 15, 2005.
