For stem cell and regenerative medicine research to result in patient treatments sooner, cell manufacturing and delivery technologies must be standardized and scaled for clinical availability. Greater governmental support and international collaboration are also needed among academic researchers, life science companies and nonprofit research organizations. These were key conclusions shared at New York Pharma Forum’s (NYPF) 24th Annual General Assembly on December 6th.
