Michigan Life Sciences Pipeline Announces Launch of New Chief Executive Roundtable

TROY, Mich., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- CJPS Enterprises, LLC ( www.CJPS-Enterprises.com ), the operator of the Michigan Life Sciences Pipeline, through a contract from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), will be inviting a few select executives to join its Chief Executives Roundtable. The group will be comprised of CEOs, executive directors, general managers, and business owners interested in growing their medical device or life science business in the State of Michigan, and will have special access to resources dedicated to that mission.

The Chief Executives Roundtable is a key component of the Michigan Life Sciences Pipeline ( www.MichiganPipeline.com ), the 21st Century Jobs Fund initiative designed to facilitate and accelerate growth in the healthcare industry in Michigan. Participants will enjoy a host of networking and learning opportunities. Monthly meetings will be facilitated by CJPS Enterprises, a firm dedicated to providing entrepreneurial leadership to companies in need of explosive growth.

“We will provide continuous learning, mentoring and development for these business leaders in small peer group settings,” Christophe Sevrain, CEO of CJPS Enterprises, explained. “These executives will benefit from a formalized exchange of ideas among their peers and be part of an exciting process to help remove obstacles and generate growth,” he added.

There will be hands-on workshops, best-practice idea exchanges, and focused brainstorm sessions to assist in specific challenges that participants are encountering in their businesses. Additionally, confidential one-on-one private sessions will be provided to each participant on a monthly basis. The sessions will include a business review, where key issues and opportunities are discussed in depth in an individualized atmosphere.

The Chief Executives Roundtable is a powerful and valuable opportunity for executives to increase their chances for success and help Michigan participate in the growing healthcare industry. A small annual fee will be charged, so participation will include companies of various sizes, from startups to multinationals. This will allow for a broader perspective than what would be possible if they were categorized only by size.

“We had a terrific set of executives during our 2007 - 2008 season, and we hope to be able to attract as talented a group for this year’s sessions,” Sevrain said. “The participants were Billy Huss, Site Manager for Healthcare Industries of Dow Corning Corporation, James Safran, President and CEO of Beaumont Services Company, Mark Rathbone, CEO of PTI Engineered Plastics, Inc., Maureen Krauss, Deputy Director for Economic Development for Oakland County, Michael Smolin, Owner of Jade Scientific, Inc., and Robert Casalou, who was the President of St. John Providence Park Hospital.”
