(NASDAQ: AMCS), a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions, today announced a new partnership with one of the nation’s most progressive radiology practices, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Group (MDIG) of Phoenix, AZ. This partnership will enable MDIG to achieve its aggressive growth initiatives.
MDIG is a private 32-radiologist practice providing both hospital and imaging center reading services at multiple imaging facilities located in Phoenix, Yuma, and Casa Grande. MDIG is a full-service radiology practice, offering diagnostic and interventional radiology expertise.

Under the terms of the agreement, MDIG will utilize new, Web-based technology for integrated scheduling, reading, marketing, teleradiology, customer service, and tracking initiatives. Included in the partnership deal are AMICAS’ Vision Series™ RIS, Vision Series PACS, Vision Reach™, and Vision Series Document solutions.

After a great deal of due diligence, we found with AMICAS a solution that would drive productivity gains by enabling our radiologists to read from a single worklist -- regardless of our radiologists’ physical location or the facility for which they are reading.”
