EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Morphotek®, Inc. today announced the appointment of Joye L. Bramble, Ph.D. as Vice President, Pilot Plant Operations. In this role, Dr. Bramble will have full responsibility for the management and operation of Morphotek’s new pilot manufacturing plant, which will produce biologics to support the company’s early-stage clinical trials. The company broke ground for the new $80 million facility in March 2010 and expects operations to begin by fall 2012. Morphotek® is a subsidiary of Eisai Inc., the U.S. pharmaceutical operation of Tokyo-based Eisai Co., Ltd.
