JADAK Exhibiting At 2017 AACC Clinical Lab Expo

SYRACUSE, N.Y. July 10, 2017 - JADAK, a business unit of Novanta Corporation, is exhibiting at the 69th annual AACC Clinical Lab Expo from July 30 - August 3, 2017 in San Diego, CA, Booth #2818. JADAK’s exhibit will feature its new Clarity(TM) 2.0 Machine Vision & Image Analysis Software, demonstrated within a desktop analyzer, as well as its expanded line of Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RAIN RFID products and Near Field Communications (NFC) High Frequency (HF) RFID product line.

Clarity 2.0 Machine Vision & Image Analysis Software was released last month. It includes enhanced features and functionality to all of the pre-existing plug-ins, as well as two new plug-in functions. The standard plug-ins are Presence/Absence, Count, Pattern Match, Decode, Finder, and Measure. The two-new standard plug-ins are Image Process and Color Detection.

JADAK’s expanded line of UHF/HF RFID products is the result of the acquisition of ThingMagic earlier this year. RFID technology has emerged over the last decade as an efficient means of detecting and tracking medical consumables and as a supplement or alternative to barcode technology, where line of sight of the object may not be available or desired. RFID allows data to be stored on the object as well.

In addition to Clarity and RFID readers/modules, JADAK will be exhibiting its machine vision products, barcode scanners, image engines, and thermal printers.
