BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gluster, a leading provider of scale-out, open source storage solutions for public and private clouds, today announced its co-founder and chief technology officer, Anand Babu (AB) Periasamy, will be among the industry experts presenting in the cloud computing track during Bio-IT World. The event will take place April 12–14 at the World Trade Center in Boston. On Thursday, April 14 from 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., Periasamy will present “Scale-Out Storage for High Performance Bioinformatics in the Cloud.” Additionally, Gluster will be exhibiting in booth 429 with its newest partner, RightScale, and will be demonstrating its recently released Gluster Virtual Storage Appliances, the first scale-out NAS virtual appliances for VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and RightScale environments.
