UK-based animal genetics company Genus Plc (GNS.L: News ) Wednesday appointed Eli Lilly and Co. (LLY: News ) executive Karim Bitar as its Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Richard Wood, who is retiring from the company on September 30.
Bitar, the CEO designate, will join the firm and the Board on September 1 and will become the CEO on Wood’s departure.
