Exco InTouch Secures The Journal Of mHealth’s Global Digital Health 100 Award As A Leading Mobile And Digital Health Innovator

Accolade recognizes the company’s groundbreaking innovations in the field of patient engagement and data capture solutions to enhance efficiencies and outcomes in mHealth

9 December 2014 – Exco InTouch, the leading provider of digital patient engagement and data capture solutions for clinical research and healthcare providers, today announced that it has been recognized as an honoree in the 2014 Global Digital Health 100 from The Journal of mHealth. Companies selected to the list fulfill criteria that mark them out as innovators in the field of mobile and digital health.

Recognizing the evolving importance of mobile and digital solutions to the delivery and performance of modern healthcare, this award represents six months of research by The Journal of mHealth’s editorial team and considered the offerings of over 1,500 different mobile and digital health companies worldwide, before selecting the 100 finalists. Ten different qualitative and quantitative evaluation criteria were utilized including disruptive impact, proof of concept, technology innovation, social value, execution of strategy and industry integration.

As a world leading authority in the mHealth industry, Exco InTouch is committed to developing novel technology for the benefit of patients and medical professionals. Building on their heritage in clinical research, Exco InTouch developed their mHealth platform to provide a complete self-management service that incorporates personalized content, dashboards, goals and rewards alongside traditional monitoring components such as data collection and alerts in order to support patients, their caregivers and HCPs. To ensure an interactive and engaging experience for patients, this dynamic service utilizes algorithms and a rules engine to analyze data and respond to individual patient requirements. Through this, content is tailored to each user’s changing needs over time (whether patient, caregiver or HCP) and the service is adapted according to the device in use. Furthermore, their proprietary mDNA® technology enables the protection of personally identifiable information (PII) and compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Tim Davis, CEO and founder of Exco InTouch commented: “We are delighted to be recognized as an honoree on the 2014 Digital Health 100 List. Securing this award reflects our achievements to date in advancing mHealth services through our suite of data capture and patient engagement solutions. We look forward to continuing to drive innovation in mHealth to the benefit of both patients and healthcare professionals.”
