PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The first joint life science event staged by BIOTECHNICA AMERICA, INTERPHEX and PharmaMedDevice closed with positive results. The new “tripartite” event completed its maiden run in Philadelphia with outstanding exhibitor and visitor figures. Total attendance of 13,000 trade visitors easily exceeded original prognoses. The organizers at Deutsche Messe and Reed Life Sciences were extremely satisfied with the run of the three-day event. “The debut installment was a success,” stated Stephan Ph. Kühne, Managing Board member at Hannover-based Deutsche Messe, adding that “the new concept of uniting companies and specialists from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry under the same umbrella was enthusiastically received by exhibitors and visitors.” The three events ran in parallel from 26 to 28 March at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
