LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - March 11, 2014) - Decision Diagnostics Corp. (OTCQB: DECN), the exclusive worldwide sales, service and regulatory processes agent for the popular Shasta GenStrip™, the unique Green Glucose Test Strip, specifically designed to work with the Johnson & Johnson’s LifeScan Ultra family of glucose testing meters, today announced that that the Company has engaged Mark Krakauer to lead the company’s private label marketing strategy. Mr. Krakauer is President of MWK Marketing, Inc. and a founder of the Private Label Manufacturers Association.
“I am delighted to be a part of Pharma Tech Solutions. I believe strongly in the Genstrip, and have presented the product to my customer business base, which includes chain pharmacies, group buying organizations, major supermarket chains, mass merchants, and the large distributors in the medical product space. Not coincidently we have received verbal offers from three of my larger customers. We are currently working on enterprise marketing plans for these groups which the company has informed me that they will announce shortly.”
The company reminds shareholders and all interested parties that it is currently airing its GenStrip commercial video titled, “A Winter Patchwork” in every region of the country, and is completing its new series of commercials titled Monolith. The company’s upcoming media schedule calls for almost 20,000 total 30 second buys with the commercial playing all hours of the day except for late morning and dinner hours. The current video is available for viewing at: http://shastagenstrip.com/winter_ad.html or http://youtu.be/j0njOGSSKtQ.
Keith Berman, Principal Executive Officer of DECN concluded, “There are times when the right product in the right space allows for things to just fall into place. The engagement of Mark Krakauer will boost Genstrip in a market channel where we are relative newcomers, but where Mark has spent the last 36 years becoming the authority in an industry channel he founded. This engagement could not have happened at a better time for DECN.”
