ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Centura Health, Colorado’s largest healthcare system, announced that Craig McKnight will join the organization as corporate chief financial officer.

McKnight will have leadership responsibility for the system’s financial initiatives and functions, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, revenue management, decision support, billing, patient financial services, purchasing and managed care contracting.

McKnight currently serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Hillcrest Healthcare System, the largest healthcare system in eastern Oklahoma. He has more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of financial roles, and has served as partner-in-charge of Coopers & Lybrand’s healthcare practice in Los Angeles, CA, and as executive vice president for Magellan Health Care Services in Atlanta, GA. A Certified Public Accountant, McKnight holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Joining Centura Health in late-August 2004, McKnight fills the chief financial position vacated by Jay Picerno, who now serves as Centura’s executive vice president and chief operating officer.
