September 17, 2012 -- Although emotions after BioForum 2012 has slightly dropped, echoes of success, and established profitable partnerships in Brno still sustain. This year 11th edition of BioForum, the biggest biotech and biobusiness event in Central Europe gathered in one place at one time almost 500 representatives from around the world – scientists, entrepreneurs, journalists, students and biotech madcaps. Thanks to consolidation of investors interested in biosector and business oriented scientists communities, BioForum became the best place to business network.

Arrangements to the next edition of the event have just started! Next year, Budapest will become Central European center of innovation. 22-23rd May 2013 – it is worth to write this date down in your calendar because in those days in the capital of Hungary each participant will receive a chance to get to know with a large potential of biotech and pharma companies from Central Europe.

- I was a participant of BioForum for the first time in 2005. Since this year I have been visiting this event each year. On the Bioforum I decided to set up my company. BioForum was also the place where I met a lot of clients and I got to know the most important people who are involved in biotechnology in Poland – says Wojciech Kamysz, CEO of Lipopharm, a company, which is engaged in designing and synthesis of peptides.

Year by year BioForum attracts more investors and encourage representatives of the strongest, global biobusiness centers to cooperate.

One of the most important initiatives functioning on the BioForum is BioPartnering. It relays on arranging prescheduled B2B meetings with business potential partners: investors, scientists, manufacturers. BioPartnering is thought to be the best place for building cooperation between science and business. Participants of the conference in Budapest will also be able to convince themselves about its unique effectiveness.

I am sure that the biggest biotechnology enterprises are still looking for new technologies, fresh innovative ideas and thereby new partners or outsourcing providers. BioForum is the perfect place where they can find everything mentioned above and catch the opportunities hidden in Central Europe. Through our activities we would like to create a modern bioeconomy, which will serve humankind, will be founded on the newest achievements of life science. – says Tadeusz Pietrucha, CEO of Bio-Tech Consulting, the main BioForum organizer.
