American Transplant Congress 2010: Interactive Sessions and Important State-of-the-Art Addresses

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., April 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 10th annual American Transplant Congress 2010 (ATC) is the premiere educational event in the fields of basic and clinical transplantation. This joint meeting, sponsored by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST), will occur from May 1 - 5, 2010 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.

ATC features three State-of-the-Art addresses by leading scientists, new audience response sessions and hundreds of presentations covering crucial data in transplantation science and medicine. Controversial topics and important new data will be offered daily. "This 10th anniversary ATC will be an unprecedented meeting in terms of quality and content," said John Iacomini, PhD, a chair of ATC.

State-of-the-Art Addresses are:

A focus on "Hot" topics will spotlight the conference. A fun, interactive session on May 3(rd) "Transplant Jeopardy: Essential Infectious Disease", created to mimic the television game show has top doctors (Jeffrey Crippin MD, Richard Freeman MD, and Barbara Murphy MD) solving clinical challenges. Afterwards, they will present lectures on infectious disease topics.
