AstraZeneca PLC Says Nexium Patent Rejected In Europe

Dec. 19 (Bloomberg) -- AstraZeneca Plc, the U.K.'s second- largest drugmaker, said the European Patent Office rejected a patent covering the company's best-selling Nexium ulcer medicine. The shares declined 4.4 percent.
