Rapid Pathogen Screening to Add More than 250 Medical Device Jobs

Sarasota, Florida-based Rapid Pathogen Screening (RPS), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of point-of-care diagnostic tests, is in the process of expanding its team. The company, which is focusing on Point-of-Care diagnoses in the areas of ocular and systemic diseases and bio-chemical warfare, has 27 professionals, according to Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County. The company plans to add Medical Device Jobs. It intends to employ more than 250 employees within the next three years. Last year it also emerged that its plans call for expansion of the RPS research and development laboratory by up to 3,000 square feet, and additional headcounts for their research, sales and marketing teams as well as executive leadership.
