NBCF is an organization aimed at saving lives through breast cancer education and providing mammograms for those in need. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Conducting a breast self-exam at least once a month and getting a mammogram once a year after age 35 are simple preventative measures that can save lives. To help women create and follow their own personalized early detection plan, P&G and NBCF created an interactive early detection website at www.mypinkplan.com. With customized tools and simple digital alerts, women can set up their own plan with reminders to perform self-exams and schedule clinical exams and mammograms.

A special edition of the P&G brandSAVER coupon booklet will be included in newspapers delivered to over 57 million homes across the country on September 26. For every brandSAVER coupon redeemed from the booklet at any participating retailer, a two-cent donation will be made to the NCBF. A total of three billion coupons will be distributed. This uncapped donation from P&G will be solely based on the number of coupons redeemed starting September 26. The donations will be used by NBCF to fund education programs across the country. "This October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, consumers can help contribute to breast cancer early detection efforts simply by clipping our P&G brandSAVER® coupons, and redeeming them at their local Target," said Janet Fletcher, Associate Director of Marketing Strategy and Scale, Procter & Gamble. "With the help of Target guests, Procter & Gamble will make a large and impactful donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation."
