Edwards Lifesciences Fund To Grant ∼$5.6 Million To 450+ Non-Profit Organizations In 2013

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - December 06, 2013) - Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (NYSE: EW), the global leader in the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring, announced today that The Edwards Lifesciences Fund will grant approximately $5.6 million this year to support health- and community-focused charitable initiatives. Gifts will be distributed to more than 450 non-profit organizations around the world, including 200 supported through the company's Employee Matching Gift Program. Grant recipients were recognized earlier in the week at an annual awards celebration held at Edwards' corporate headquarters in Irvine. Since its inception in 2004, the Fund has gifted more than $30 million to non-profit organizations.
