PRA International Inc., a clinical contract research organization, announced that it will add services to its Lenexa laboratory.
According to a release, the company plans to add immunochemistry services. Immunochemistry is an analysis technique used for biotechnology drugs such as proteins, which constitute about half of all drugs in development, company spokesperson Laura Lawton said in an email. She said adding that capability would allow the Lenexa lab to serve the entire spectrum of new pharmaceutical products.
