BASF Increases Prices for Higher Alkylamines in Europe

March 11, 2011 -- With immediate effect , or as existing contracts permit, BASF is increasing the sales prices for higher alkylamines in Europe as follows:

Monoethylamin (MEA 70%) + 40 €/t

Diethylamin (DEA) + 80 €/t

Triethylamin (TEA) + 90 €/t

Monoisopropylamine (MIPA) + 200 €/t

Monopropylamine (MPA) + 80 €/t

Dipropylamine (DPA) + 90 €/t

Tripropylamine (TPA and TPA+) + 100 €/t

Monobutylamin (MBA) + 150 €/t

Dibutylamin (DBA) + 170 €/t

Tributylamin (TBA and TBA+) + 180 €/t

Octylamine (OA) + 220 €/t

2-Ethylhexylamine (2-EHA) + 160 €/t

Di-2-Ethylhexylamine (Di-2-EHA) + 170 €/t

Tris-2-Ethylhexylamine (Tris-2-EHA) + 180 €/t

Tridecylamine (TDA) + 250 €/t

Di-tridecylamine + 250 €/t

Diethylethanolamine (DEEOA) + 110 €/t

or by the corresponding amount in local currency.

These high-quality special amines form the starting material for the production of various intermediates that are used for example in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, rubber and coatings industries.
