Aptalis Pharmaceutical Technologies Plans Growth, to Create 75 New Jobs

Aptalis Pharma Inc. in Vandalia plans to create 75 jobs within the next five years.

The Birmingham, Ala.-based pharmaceutical maker expects to invest $20.25 million to create the jobs, thanks to an expanded Ohio tax credit, which initially allowed the company to build an addition to its Vandalia plant.

The investment falls in line with continued growth in the bioscience industry in the Dayton region.
